This Iridium SIM card supports GMDSS (Global Marine Distress and Safety System) for satellite phones LT-4100S and LT-4200S from Lars Thrane approved for this purpose. Please find tariff information under tab Documents. You will receive a contract in which information about your vessel must be provided to allow GMDSS service. After activation on preferred date you’ll attend a free but mandatory GMDSS online training (1.5 hours) in English language.
Activation
Activation takes place via our User Portal www.sim-ticket.de. Here you can inform us in advance of your desired activation date.
At the day of activation we inform you via email about your telephone number as well as the PIN and PUK codes. As soon as the activation has been made the SIM card is in use.
Note: Iridium Certus is actually not available in Russia.
