The LT-4200S satellite phone system from Lars Thrane supports Iridium Certus Maritim 200 data service, GMDSS maritime emergency services and is designed for permanent installation on vessels. The robust and high-quality design predestines the device for demanding use at and for long-term emergency communication on sea. LT-4200S offers Distress Alert, Safety Voice, and Maritime Safety Information (MSI) as well as Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) and Long Range Identification & Tracking (LRIT), in addition contemporary options for connecting smartphones or telephone systems. Last but not least, the unusually long maximum cable lengthof 150 m for satellite antennas distinguishes the LT-4200S for flexible installation in a wide variety of situations.
