This Iridium SIM card supports GMDSS (Global Marine Distress and Safety System) for the currently only satellite phone LT-3100S from Lars Thrane approved for this purpose. Please note the favorable entry tariff for the permanent setup of your emergency communication on board in our tariff document under Documents.
You will receive a contract in which information about your vessel must be provided to allow GMDSS service. Following the activation will take place on your desired date.
Activation:
Activation takes place via our User Portal www.sim-ticket.de. Here you can inform us in advance of your desired activation date.
At the day of activation we inform you via email about your telephone number as well as the PIN and PUK codes. As soon as the activation has been made the SIM card is in use.
