With the Thuraya IP satellite modem data rates of up to 444 kbps can be transferred within the Thuraya network. Here in each case the transferred volume of data is charged, not the connecting time. Thuraya is the only provider, who offers also flatrates. Thus Thuraya is in the range of the data communication via satellite with larger data sets the most economical offerer.
