The ZOLOE seamlessly switches to the Iridium satellite network when you are out of cellular coverage. At the same time, you save on expensive satellite transmissions if a mobile network or Wi-Fi is available, and you can still use the same apps.
The ZOLEO is shockproof, dustproof and waterproof (IP68, MIL-STD 810G) and has a built-in battery – with up to 200 hours of battery life when checking messages every 12 minutes.
A free app (iOS/Android) for phones/tablets supports: Two-way messaging, two-way SOS alert, check-in, weather forecast, location sharing and more (the app also transmits over the cellular network and Wi-Fi when available).
An active ZOLEO service plan is required to transmit messages or SOS alerts.
