Iridium active antenna AD511-2-1
The Active Iridium Antenna is designed for use where long cable runs are required, far beyond the distances achievable with a standard passive devices (up to 20 m). The AD511-2 can be supplied with flexible coax cables from 27m up to 160m, subject to coax cable type. Power supply of antenna via antenna cable, no separate power cable required.
The AD511-2 provides superior performance with all the Iridium satellite phones series for external mounting in harsh or marine environments. The radomes are mechanically resilient and resistant to corrosion. The unit is designed for free air mounting and no ground plane is required.
